Honeypot Cottage is a self-catering holiday cottage near Cambridge. It offers comfort and tranquility for up to six people and a warm and friendly welcome awaits your arrival when you ask any questions you may have about the cottage and surrounding area.
By arrangement, a welcome pack can be provided. However, to make your stay more convenient, by arrangement prior to your arrival, additional provisions can be purchased on your behalf.
There is off road parking space for two cars.
The principal entrance is into the dining room with dresser and large table that seats six people comfortably.
Downstairs there is a cosy sitting room with an extremely efficient wood-burning stove. There is a TV and video that can be tucked away out of sight for those not interested. A stereo-system will provide your music and a choice of games and books are available to keep you amused.
The dining room leads into the kitchen complete with all the usual appliances together with microwave and dishwasher. There is no washing machine but a laundry service can usually be provided.
The cottage comprises 2 bedrooms, one double and one twin, tucked under the eves with a good sized shared bathroom situated centrally off the landing between the two bedrooms.
The cottage is tastefully decorated throughout and provides great comfort, whether on hot sunny days or in cooler winter times.
The back door, the most frequently used, opens out into the well-kept garden. There are a few very old fruit trees under which you can lounge and two patio areas - space for outside eating and barbequing - and great for breakfast on warm sunny days. The pleasantly sized garden provides plenty of space in which to lounge and soak up the summer sun. If you feel more adventurous, a picnic basket can usually be arranged with prior notice and an ordnance survey map supplied complete with stop off points for local beauty spots and pubs.
